This small crag overlooks Embsay reservoir on the edge of Barden Moor. The bouldering potential is limited but the rock is good and there are a few good problems, as well as some short routes.

The Rift

The big slab in the rift gives some excellent, high, technical problems.

Climb the slab just right of the arete, aiming for a huge pocket.

A nice mantel problem onto a ledge right of the hideous hand crack.

Just below the rift is an obvious roof. Climb the roof from an obvious handrail on the right, via a good undercut flake, to finish on slopers and pockets.

Twin Aretes

Right of the main crag (looking in) are two blocks with prominent aretes.

The problem takes the left arete of the right-hand block.
