And today I did a fairly inconsequential sitter under the leaning block behind Pot Of Gold - sit start, up to the lip and over the top. I'll call it "Sole Mate", Font 5a, FA Tom Crane.

I did a version of this today, sitting start as for NY but going straight up and over the shelf via a decent pocket. I'll call it "No Chemistry", reckon it's Font 5+, FA Tom Crane.

On the boulder just before this there are a few problems and eliminates, all sit starts. The right arete taken on the left V4? missing big hold near top, the left arete is V3? no side wall. Traverse - sit start left arete, no side wall, low traverse to right arete and carry on around that to finish up arete on left hand side missing big hold at top of arete V5? From left arete sit start onto middle of the face, no big hold on right just small stuff and up to the top V3?

I did this again today, it is top quality. Three star wall climbing at any crag, it looked like it hadn't been touched since we first did it. Poor show really! Anyway it's clean again now, go and do it a must of the crag!

Tom Craine did the arete to the right of this from sit today and called it Madame la Blaireau and suggested a grade of 5+.

Did this today, although I start one hand crimp and one hand sidepull pocket thingy and double dynod to the top. May well ease with traffic as catching the lip is very scritlly. Fun though.

Got this after three sessions over a year. seemed really straightforward in the end
