There are a few good problems at this rather esoteric crag, but on the whole the crag is rubbish, especially in summer and autumn when you can expect to spend more time thrashing your way through bracken than climbing. The Thruscross Boulder looks to offer the best climbing, but unfortunately it's a bit too big for the average boulderer.

On a boulder with a low roof. Climb over the roof from a sit-start.

Wild Wall/Cuckoo Slab

A chossy little area near the dam.

Climb direct to the scoop left of Wilderbeast. Using the holds on Wilderbeast after the scoop is around 6a+.

Doe Traverse

Just down from the previous area is a low boulder with an obvious traverse.

Traverse the crack leftwards from the far right. Pumpy.

Under Oakwood

A chossy little area further along the hillside.

An entertaining little problem climbing an overhanging nose.

The big green arete. Brilliant!

Washburn Walls

A chossy little area with dodgy landings. To be fair, the arete next to the groove on the boulder below the largest wall is actually very good.
